My name is Rebecca and this is my first blog. I’m an English major turned software engineer turned agile coach turned new blogger. I love many, many things including travel, scuba diving, gardening, sci fi, cardio fitness, positive psychology, Ted Lasso, Star Trek, and my crazy beautiful family. Mostly I love learning and growing and experiencing all the opportunities the universe sees fit to throw my way.

The impetus for creating this blog is to document our 14 months (or more?) living in Hawaii. We’ve moved here to be close to our son, who is on his way to becoming The Next Big Thing in Electronic Dance Music (that’s the dream, anyway).

This is an experiment – I’ve always felt blogs were a little . . . self-indulgent. We’ll see if I can reign in my self-consciousness and enjoy the journey of writing about this year of my life, as much as I enjoy living the year itself.
