Silver Wedding Anniversary Celebration #1 – Dinner at Haleiwa Joe’s
Haleiwa Joe’s at Haiku Gardens in Kaneohe has become our go-to for special occasion dining. The food is delicious (especially the fish dishes, prime rib, and coconut shrimp), the prices are Hawai’i-reasonable (i.e., less than Waikiki or resort pricing), and the setting is just stunning!
We bopped over an hour before they opened, so that we could be first in line and get the absolute best table, on the deck overlooking the gardens. I chatted with my aunt on the phone and Troy chatted with this nice couple behind us (pictured below) while we waited.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, but then we even more thoroughly enjoyed wandering around the enchanting gardens and exploring every single pathway!
We congratulated ourselves on a successful kick-off to our 25th Wedding Anniversary celebrations!
